Emily Buer and Joshua Elliott are engaged to be married today at the Evangelical Free Church in Willmar.
Buer is the daughter of Steve and Kathy Buer of Dunnellon, Fla., formerly of Willmar.
She is a 2006 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2010 graduate of Bethel University. She is employed by New Life Family Services in Richfield as a social worker.
Elliott is the son of Cliff and Linda Elliott of Pekin, Ill.
He is a 2006 graduate of Peoria Christian School in Peoria, Ill., and a 2009 graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a degree in youth ministry. He is employed by Treehouse Ministries in Plymouth.
