BUFFALO LAKE - A Buffalo Lake woman was injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 212 in Buffalo Lake.

Kathleen I. Godejahn, 71, was transported to Hutchinson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. She was wearing a seat belt.

The other driver, Johnathan Moreland, 20, of Roscoe, S.D., was uninjured.

According to the State Patrol accident report, Godejahn in a 2003 Chevrolet S10 truck and Moreland in a 2013 Ford F350 truck were both traveling east on Highway 212. Godejahn was preparing to turn north onto Main Street in Buffalo Lake. Moreland, pulling a combine head trailer, attempted to pass on the left to avoid a crash, but the rear corner of the trailer collided with the Chevrolet.

The Buffalo Lake Police Department and Buffalo Lake Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
