Buetow joins Willmar law firm

WILLMAR -- Carina R. Buetow has joined the law firm of Anderson Larson Hanson & Saunders in Willmar. She will be working in its general practice, focusing on real estate, estate planning and probate.

After graduating from William Mitchell College of Law, she clerked for the District Court judge in Renville County and then practiced law in New Ulm for seven years.

She grew up on a farm south of Willmar. She lives with her husband, Jason, and two children in Willmar.

McLaughlin joins Bellezza

Gaub Inc. fined for safety violation

LAKE LILLIAN -- The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in St. Paul has assessed Gaub Inc. of Lake Lillian a $2,860 civil penalty for failing to implement an alcohol and/or controlled substances testing program.

North American adds staff

WILLMAR -- North American State Bank has added four new staff members to their customer service and credit departments in the Willmar office. They are Matt Hodsdon, Scott Ogdahl, Joy McClain and Crystal Nibbe.

Hodsdon works as a credit analyst and business banker. He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where he is also working on his master's of business administration. He brings four years of commercial, consumer and ag banking experience with him.

Ogdahl serves as a credit analyst. He is a 1998 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of Southwest State University in Marshall. He has four years of commercial and consumer banking experience and lives in Willmar.

McClain works as a bilingual customer assistant. She is a graduate of Bethel College and brings years of experience as a customer service representative from the metro area. She and her family live in the Willmar area and own and operate the Veracruz Bakery in downtown Willmar.

Nibbe is a customer assistant. She moved to the Willmar area from Brooklyn Park. She has a business management degree from North Hennepin Community College and has five years of community banking experience. She lives in the Willmar area.
