Car hits horse, injures woman

MORA - A Minnesota woman was injured Tuesday when the car she was driving hit a horse.
The Minnesota State Patrol says Jennifer Folkema, 42, of Mora, was driving on Minnesota Highway 47 in Kanabec County about 5:50 a.m. when her car hit a horse standing in the roadway.
Folkema was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, the state patrol report said.
The report did not indicate the condition of the horse.
Kanabec County is north of the Twin Cities.
