REDWOOD FALLS -- Carl John Raddatz, 93, of Redwood Falls died Thursday at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center.
The service will be at 1 p.m. today at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be at Crestlawn Gardens, rural Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.
He was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Three Lakes Township, Redwood County, to Carl and Emilie (Rossow) Raddatz. He went to school in District 107. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1941 to 1945.

He married Leona (Kruse) Brekke on June 22, 1964, in Springfield. They lived in Three Lakes Township where he farmed all his life. They moved into Redwood Falls in 1989.
He served on the church council for many years in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They were members of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls, where he served as delegate and as usher.
He is survived by his wife and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
