Lisa Carlson and Duncan Tomassen, both of Eden Prairie, are engaged to be married Sept. 4 at an outdoor ceremony in Minnetonka.
Carlson is the daughter of Ron and Melissa Carlson of Willmar.
She is a 1998 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead with a degree in organizational communications. She is employed as a public relations counselor by Exponent, the PR division of Colle+McVoy in Minneapolis.
Tomassen is the son of Thomas and Saskia Tomassen of Minnetonka.
He is a 1996 graduate of Minnetonka Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a degree in management of information systems and finance. He owns Energy Sense Consulting in Minneapolis.
