Gina Carlson and Bill Wheeler were united in marriage Aug. 23 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Spicer.
The bride is the daughter of Jack and Diane Carlson of Litchfield.The groom is the son of Pat and Liz Wheeler of Atwater.
Maid of honor was Kari Carlson, sister of the bride. Bride's attendants were Caitlin Wheeler, sister of the groom, andAshley Irons and Alisa Sherwood, friends of the bride. Junior attendant was Jessica Bertrand, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Matthew Pearson, friend of the groom. Groom's attendants were Jason Reiter, cousin of the groom; Eric Carlson, brother of the bride; and Mike Weseman, friend of the couple.
Ushers were WesThurman, uncle of the groom, and Kevin Bertrand and Brian Bertrand, cousins of the bride.

A reception and dance were held at the American Legion in New London.
Following a wedding trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior, the couple lives in Fayetteville, N.C., where the groom is an airborne engineer with the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Bragg.
