WILLMAR - Willmar has lost one of its last video rental stores, as Cash Wise Video has ceased operations.
The video rental store, located in Cash Wise Foods on Fifth Street Southeast, began selling its inventory at a discounted rate last week, said store director Chad Primus.
"Last week Wednesday we started marking it down," Primus said.
How long the sale will go depends on how fast the movies and games sell. Primus said they are going day by day, but expects the sale to end next week.
What will be going into the video store's place hasn't been made public.

Coborn's, which owns Cash Wise, has been closing the grocery chain's video stores for the past few years. The Cash Wise Video in Fargo, North Dakota, closed Dec. 31 and is also selling off its remaining inventory. The Waite Park store was closed in February 2016.
