PAYNESVILLE -- Cassandra (Dawn) Jennifer Callahan, 46, of St. Cloud, formerly of Paynesville, died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital, due to pulmonary hypertension.
The service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville.
Visitation will be for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born March 12, 1959, in Park Rapids. She grew up and attended school in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She graduated from Madison, Wis., in 1977. She attended the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. She lived in Paynesville for some time, and then moved to St. Cloud. She worked as a job coach for Opportunity Services in St. Cloud. She moved to Assumption Home in Cold Spring due to failing health.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather: Patricia and Theodore Richter of Roscoe; sisters: Audrie Lemke of ChulaVista, Calif., April (and Donnie) Albrecht of Roscoe; and stepsiblings: Sonja (and Don) Mackedanz of Roscoe, Brenda (and Doug) Hillskotter of Weyauwenga, Wis., Sandra (and Duane) Hanson of Waite Park, Sharla (and Duane) Dufner of Watkins, Rhonda (and David) Breitzman of Granton, Wis., Thresa (and Matthew) Wagner of Palmer, and Michael Richter of Deer River.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
