ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota State Cattlemen's Association and Minnesota Cattlewomen's Association will host their annual convention and beef industry trade show Dec. 2 to 4 at Jackpot Junction Convention Center near Morton.
The convention will feature national and regional speakers including Dr. Barry Dunn, dean of agriculture at South Dakota State University and former executive director at the King Ranch Institute at Texas A&M; Amanda (Nolz) Radke, editor at BEEF Magazine; and Daren Williams executive director of communications for National Cattlemen's Beef Association and dean of students for the Master of Beef Advocacy program.
Attendees will also hear from Dr. Robbi Pritchard of SDSU, and take in panel discussions addressing cattle marketing options and the keys to successful succession and estate planning.
