CLARA CITY -- Cecelia Mary Larson, 87, of Clara City died Sunday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Clara's Catholic Church in Clara City. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
She was born Sept. 2, 1918, in Clara City to Peter Sr. and Gertrude (Krommen) Thein. She grew up in Clara City and attended St. Clara's Catholic School. She graduated from high school at St. Benedict's in 1936. She attended beauty school in St. Paul. She owned and operated Cecelia's Beauty Shoppe in Clara City from 1940 to the early 1950s.

She married James R. Larson on May 2, 1950. She worked with her husband at Larson's Market in Clara City.
She was a member of St. Clara's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children: Robert Larson of Clara City, Mary Lou (and Dale) Larson-Fine of Bloomington; four grandchildren; and her siblings: Peter Jr. (and Donna) Thein of Cold Spring, Dennis (and Margie) Thein of Rochester, Stanley (and Velma) Thein of Clara City, Irene Weis of Willmar, Doris (and Walter) Ervin of Rochester, Mildred (and Lou) Branca of Rochester, Marie (and Richard) Barron of Rogers, Phyllis (and Joseph) O'Brien of Waconia, and Barbara (and Robert) Lee of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; two brothers and one sister in infancy.
