MONTEVIDEO -- Charlene Frances Schaller, 92, of Montevideo died Friday at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and for one hour before the service at the church.

She was born July 8, 1913, on the family farm near Montevideo to Nick and Nellie (McNeal) Collins. She attended country school and graduated from Montevideo High School.
She married Charles Jung on June 28, 1941. She worked for many years as a waitress. Charles died in 1961.
On Feb. 17, 1968, she married Jesse Schaller. After Jesse retired from the railroad, they spent summers in Montevideo and winters in Mesa, Ariz.
She was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen for several years, Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary. She was active as a reader in her church. She joined the Methodist Church of Montevideo in 2002.
She is survived by her husband; one son: Mike (and Ruth) Schaller of The Villages, Fla.; three stepdaughters: Carol Jung Severance of Phoenix, Ariz., Kathy Schaller Beito of Duluth, and Joyce Schaller (and Howard) Kron of Clara City; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Roy Collins of Joliet, Ill.; and two sisters: Lucille Tise of Montevideo and Carol Junek of Spearfish, S.D.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and her first husband.
