Charles Schmidt
MORRIS -- Charles Schmidt, 90, of Morris died Saturday.
The service is at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Morris.
Visitation is at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris from 5 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary at 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation continues at the church Tuesday for one hour before the service.

He is survived by his children: John (and Donna) Schmidt of Knoxville, Tenn., Patricia (and Paul) Brandt of Bloomington, Ill., Richard (and Priscilla) Schmidt of Riverdale, Ga., Thomas (and Sandy) Schmidt of Shakopee, Gary (and Nancy) Schmidt of Marshall, Kenneth (and Sherry) Schmidt of Hendersonville, N.C., Donald Schmidt of Morris, and Rebecca (and Chuck) Johnson of Mesa, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rose (and Manley) Anderson of Morris, and Marg (and Doug) Schmidt of El Cajon, Calif.; four brothers: Francis (and Madelyn) Schmidt of Morris, Henry (and Lucille) Schmidt Jr. of Columbia Heights, Albert (and Beverley) Schmidt of Morris, and Jerry (and Sylvia) Schmidt of Morris; and nieces and nephews.
