NEW LONDON -- Christine S. Koch, 82, of New London died April 23 as a result of complications of Parkinson's disease.
A memorial gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 4210 150th Ave. N.E., New London.
She was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Newport, Ark., to Christopher and Emma (Hopkins) Simmons.

She married Joe Koch on April 2, 1945, in Mississippi. She was a homemaker. They lived in Memphis in 1954. They lived in the Twin Cities area from 1954 to 1999. Then they moved to New London.
She is survived by her husband; children: Joseph of New London, Ron of New London, Nick (and Linda) of St. Paul, Robert of Willmar, Jimmy (and Ann) of New London, Christopher (and Jean) of Apple Valley, Emma Koch of West St. Paul; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son: Dennis.
