WILLMAR -- The city of Willmar announces today it has closed a portion of 11th Street Southwest from Trott Avenue Southwest to Litchfield Avenue Southwest for a reconstruction project.
The project calls for rebuilding the entire 11th Street roadway from Trott Avenue to Litchfield Avenue. Traffic will not be allowed in the construction zone. Traffic control is in place.
Officials said residents and motorists may encounter minor delays. Motorists are advised to slow down for their safety and the safety of others.
Weather permitting, the city anticipates construction will be completed by Nov. 13. Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg is the prime contractor.
