WILLMAR -- The Willmar City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at the Willmar Municipal Utilities Building, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.
The meeting was rescheduled from the usual Monday meeting date because of Presidents Day.
The agenda includes approval of the 2008 improvement report.
The council is expected to set an improvement hearing to be held at its March 3 meeting. Projects on the improvement list include construction of Fifth Street Southeast from south of Willmar Avenue to 19th Avenue and the paving of Willmar Avenue Southwest from Highway 40 to County Road 47.
The council will conduct a public hearing on an ordinance that would change requirements for leasing the Civic Center for events. Also on the agenda is a committee recommendation to set a March 17 public hearing on new wastewater treatment rates.
