WILLMAR -- The city of Willmar Public Works Department will declare a snow emergency in the central business district at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The area where snow will be removed is from First Street to Seventh Street Southwest and from Trott Avenue to the bypass.
The Public Works Department said city parking lots may be used to park cars normally parked on the streets. Any vehicles remaining on the streets will be towed at the owner's expense, the department said.
The emergency will expire at 5 a.m., the department said.
