PRINSBURG -- A 31-year old Clara City woman was killed Sunday when the snowmobile she was driving collided with an SUV near Prinsburg.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department, the woman was dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at 2:16 p.m. at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 7 and 210th Avenue Southwest, in Holland Township.
A male passenger on the snowmobile, who was listed as being 27 years old and also from Clara City, was critically injured. He was taken to Rice Hospital by ambulance and flown to St. Cloud Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The snowmobile collided with a SUV, which was driven by a 66-year old man from Renville.
The names of the victims were being withheld until family members were notified.

The crash is under investigation by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department. The Prinsburg First Responders, Raymond Ambulance and Willmar Ambulance assisted at the scene.
