BENSON -- Clarence Raymond Lageson, 94, of Benson died Sunday at the Swift County-Benson Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be at West Bank Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Jacobson-Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials are preferred.
He was born June 17, 1911, in West Bank Township, Swift County, to Peter and Minnie (Lofthus) Lageson. He grew up in Swenoda Township, Swift County, and attended country school through the seventh grade.

He married to Amelia Alden in 1950. She died in 1986. He married Lore Heidel on Sept. 6, 2003. He farmed in Swenoda Township for over 60 years. He moved into Benson in 1985 and farmed some acreage until 1988.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson and served on many boards and committees.
He is survived by his wife; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; two brothers and four sisters.
