MADISON -- Clayton Grant Larsen, 80, of Madison died Monday at his home in Madison.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Faith Lutheran Church in Madison. Military honors will be provided by the VFW. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Arrangements are with Zahrbock Funeral Home in Madison.

He was born Nov. 11, 1926, in Warner, S.D. to Harold and Ruth (Grantz) Larsen. The family moved to Madison when he was 11 and he graduated from Madison High School in 1944. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1946.

He married Norma Undlin on June 16, 1951. He owned and operated the International Harvester business with his father and later on his own. He sold the business in 1992 and did bookwork for the local fertilizer plant.

He is survived by his wife; children: Russell (and Lois) Larsen of Keller, Texas, Beth (and John) Hollifield of Winston, Mo., Nancy (and Bruce) Secrest of Hettinger, N.D., Gretchen (and Patrick) McGinnis of Atascadero, Calif; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
