MONTEVIDEO -- Clifford Eugene Andresen, 64, of Montevideo died Saturday at his home.

The service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.

Visitation is one hour before the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

He was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Montevideo to Fred and Jessie (Peters) Andresen. He graduated from Clara City High School in 1959. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

On Aug. 24, 1963, he married Lorelei Sherod in Montevideo. He attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Calif., completing his studies in 1971. They lived in Granite Falls where he owned and operated the Andresen Studio from 1973 until his retirement in 1998. They moved to Montevideo in 1997.

He was a very active member of the Minnesota Professional Photographers Association, serving on the MPPA Council from 1975 to 1985. He received his accredited photography degree in 1981, the MPPA service degree in 1999 and life membership in 2003. He was a member of the Granite Falls American Legion, the Montevideo VFW, the NRA, Willmar Gun Club and the Montevideo Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife; two brothers: Steven (and Bonnie) Andresen and Norman (and Linda) Andresen, both of Clara City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
