WILLMAR -- The Ward 4 Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Willmar Fire Station. There will be a tour of the fire station.

WILLMAR -- The Kandiyohi County Area National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Willmar American Legion. There will be discussion on the upcoming state convention. For more information call Marvin Olson at (320) 235-1919.
Horticulture Society

WILLMAR -- The Kandiyohi County Horticulture Society will have its annual silent auction plant sale from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Willmar Civic Center. Building opens for viewing at 6 p.m. Sale is open to the public.

Women of Today
WILLMAR -- Kasey Baker, president of the Willmar Area Women of Today, received a presidential pin at the state convention. The pin recognizes a member's commitment to her local chapter. For more information on the group call Megan Enninga at (320) 220-4006.
Boy Scouts
WILLMAR -- Cal Miner and Chad Claude each received a Silver Beaver award from the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts during the annual awards banquet. It is the highest award a local council can present to a volunteer Scouter. Miner is committee chair for Pack 432, and Claude is cubmaster for Pack 432.
