WILLMAR -- The Kandiyohi County Commissioners will set the 2011 budget and utility rates for the Green Lake Sanitary Sewer and Water District when they meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Health and Human Services building, 2200 23rd St. N.E., in Willmar. Resolutions on fees and delinquency accounts with the GLSSWD will also be addressed.
Other items on the agenda include a request to fund recommended projects from the Water Planning Task Force, a discussion in invasive species and information about a veteran's court.
The commissioners will also take action on a grant between the county and the commissioner of Public Safety. At 9 a.m., the commissioners will meet as the Family Services Board. Items on that agenda include action on contracts for child care facilities that provide sliding fee schedules, and the Somali Connection that provides interpretive and translation services. Reports will also be presented on job performance reviews and satisfaction surveys conducted by customers and partners with the county's family service department.
