WILLMAR -- On the day after accepting the Republican endorsement for a second term in the U.S. Senate, Norm Coleman kicked off his "A Stronger Future for Minnesota'' tour with a stop in Willmar.

At an appearance Saturday morning at Northern Grounds in Willmar, Coleman outlined his record of accomplishment and vision for the future.

"I have traveled to every corner of this state for more than three decades, listening and learning and finding ways to help,'' said Coleman. "The people of this state have given me an immeasurable gift; the chance to be involved in helping them fulfill their own dreams.''

Coleman shook hands and talked with many of the 91 supporters who gathered at the down-town coffee house. After the half-hour stop, he and staff and campaign members flew to gatherings in Marshall and Little Falls.
