Ashley Hennen pounded down nine kills and Jackie Noyes and Hilary Groothuis had seven each for the Lady Warriors, who finished 1-2 in pool play at the College of Dupage Invitational in Illinois and did not advance to the semifinals.
"We made a big improvement from day one to day two," said Ridgewater coach Joe Sussenguth. "But we need to get better defensively. That's what we'll be working on to see if we can get some improvement in that area. As far as the other things, we just need to get more reps."
