ST. CLOUD -- Ridgewater sophomore Justin Turek won four matches and placed third at the St. Cloud State Invitational on Saturday.
The meet was the Warriors' fourth senior-college open and wraps up that part of the schedule.
"All in all, this was the most solid competition of the four meets," said coach Jesse Nelson. "We had guys winning three or four matches, but still not placing."
Jimmy Marx placed fifth at 125 pounds. Heavyweight Ben Thonvold won four matches, but did not medal.
"Our guys are ready for a rest. They've done a great job of taking steps toward our goal of winning the national tournament," added Nelson, whose Warriors won the 2005 NJCAA Division I title.
