GRANITE FALLS -- Constance L. 'Connie' Minsass, 72, of Granite Falls, formerly of the Marshall area, died Tuesday at her home.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home Chapel in Granite Falls.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
She was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Graceville to Leslie and Violet (Carey) Eckert. She attended elementary school in Westbrooke and finished high school in Granite Falls.
She married Gene Meade on June 11, 1955.

She married Dwain Minsaas on Sept. 5, 1987. She worked as a restaurant manager and owner at the Champlin and Tri-County Café in Granite Falls and at the café in Hazel Run.
She is survived by her daughters: Jill Eilers of Brandt, S.D., Judi Lundquist of Chisholm and Jacky (and Ed) Aslesen of Montevideo; siblings: Jim Eckert of Fridley and Jack (and Jean) Eckert of Maple Grove, Sharon (and John) Roemer of Maple Grove and Dorothy (and Don) Fugate of Canby; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepchildren: Ava Minsaas of Appleton, Arvin Minsaas of Granite Falls, and Mike Minsaas of Marshall; 12 stepgrandchildren and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her second husband; a son-in-law: Timothy Eilers: and a step-daughter: Valerie Zampa.
