MONTEVIDEO -- Cora Amanda Remmen, 87, of Montevideo died Sunday at Luther Haven Nursing Home.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1919, in Lac qui Parle County to Hilmer and Gina (Jorgenson) Christianson. She grew up in that area and attended Lac qui Parle County District 21.

She married Howard Remmen on Oct. 21, 1941. They lived and farmed northeast of Montevideo for 33 years. She moved to Luther Haven Nursing Home in 2005.
She is survived by three sisters: Elva Thompson of Minneapolis, Lillian Natzel of Richfield, and Ruth Johnson of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother; her parents and stepmother; three stepbrothers and one stepsister.
