WILLMAR - The new stretch of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and a new bridge over state Highway 23 opened Friday.
The bridge is located on the southwest side of Willmar.
According to the Kandiyohi County Public Works Department office in Willmar, construction crews will still be working adjacent to the roadway and bridge and therefore motorists are reminded to slow down for their safety and the safety of workers.
