LAKE LILLIAN -- A car crashed into a bridge abutment Monday morning along County Road 4 injuring the driver and a passenger and nearly crashing into a stream.
Sara E. Lund, 17, was driving a 1987 Oldsmobile north along County Road 4, north of Lake Lillian near 150th Avenue when the crash occurred. According to a report filed with the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, Lund allegedly reached for an item in the car around 8:16 a.m. and went off the road, striking the bridge abutment.
Fourteen-year-old Devon W. Lund was also in the car at the time of the crash.
Kandiyohi Rescue Squad, Lake Lillian Ambulance and Fire Department assisted at the scene.
