Two hurt in Kandiyohi County crash
WILLMAR — Two people were injured when their vehicles collided at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Roads 33 and 9 in Burbank Township at 1:13 p.m. on Monday.
A 2015 Chevrolet Traverse driven by a 55-year-old Paynesville woman was eastbound on Country Road 33. It was struck by a 2017 Ford F150 pickup proceeding southbound on County Road 9 and driven by a 64-year-old Clara City man, according to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
The woman was transported by ambulance to the Paynesville Hospital. The man was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Two adult passengers that were in the Chevrolet Traverse were treated by ambulance personnel at the scene.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol, the New London Ambulance and Fire Departments, the Willmar Ambulance Service and the Lakes Area First Responders.
The accident is under investigation at this time.
SPICER — A side-by-side ATV was reported stolen from a property on the 8300 block of North Shore Drive, Spicer, on Sunday afternoon.
WILLMAR — A Magic the Gathering Cards game was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 600 block of 14th Street Southwest, Willmar, on Sunday afternoon.
WILLMAR — Gas worth $38.48 was stolen in a drive off in which the suspect filled a four-door, tan Ford Bronco with fuel and threw the dispenser hose on the ground at the Holiday station on the 1300 block of Fifth Street Southeast in Willmar at 7:55 p.m. on Saturday.
ATWATER — A six-wheel, round bale wagon was taken from a property on the 13000 block of 175th Street Northeast, Atwater, its owner reported Sunday morning.
WILLMAR — A window was smashed on a truck parked on the 1400 block of Lakeland Drive Northeast, Willmar, it was reported Saturday evening.
