Marietta woman injured in two-vehicle crash
DAWSON — A Dawson man was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash Friday that sent a Marietta woman to the Madison Hospital.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Dodge Ram driven by Zachary Charles Stoffel, 27, of Dawson, was waiting at a red light at the intersection of Highways 75 and 212 when it was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Impala driven by Tracy Mary Polzine, 21, of Marietta.
The intersection is about five miles west of Dawson in Lac qui Parle County. The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Polzine sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to the state patrol. She was taken to the Madison Hospital by Madison Ambulance.
WILLMAR — A battery was reported stolen from a vehicle Saturday afternoon in the 100 block of Benson Avenue Southeast.
WILLMAR — The theft of a wallet was reported Friday night in the 1300 block of First Street South.
KANDIYOHI — A four-wheelers was reported stolen from the 6100 block of 45th Avenue Northeast. The theft was reported stolen Saturday evening.
NEW LONDON — A person reported Saturday evening that they had been bitten two dogs at Sibley State Park. Authorities spoke to the person in an emergency room. The owner of the dogs will receive a letter about having a potentially dangerous dog.
SPICER — The yard and track at the BMX park in Spicer were reported damaged and torn up over the weekend. The damage was reported early Saturday evening.
