Theft

PRINSBURG — A caller reported to law enforcement that $8,000 worth of tools had been stolen from a trailer. The report was made at 1:56 p.m. Tuesday from location on the 500 block of Roseland Avenue in Prinsburg.

Crash

LONG BEACH — A woman was injured Tuesday in Pope County when her vehicle struck an ATV that slid off a trailer and was on the road.

The accident was reported at 5:21 p.m. on state Highway 29 at Golf Course Road near Long Beach.

According to the State Patrol, a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Troy Nicholas Lien, 26, of Glenwood, was going west on Highway 29 with an ATV on its trailer. The ATV slid off the back of the trailer and onto the road, where it was struck by a 2016 Ford Explorer, driven by Deborah Grace Fath, 58, of Glenwood, that was also going west on Highway 29.

After it hit the ATV, the Explorer went into the ditch.

Fath was taken to the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Lien was not injured.

Arrest

LITCHFIELD — Litchfield police arrested a 30-year-old Litchfield female for domestic assault, interfering with a 911 call, and terroristic threats around 9:22 p.m. Tuesday at a West Third Street residence. She is being held in the Meeker County Jail pending an appearance in Meeker County District Court.
