WILLMAR - The theft of tools from a building was reported Thursday morning in the 1100 block of Second Street Southeast.

RAYMOND - A gun and ammunition were reported stolen Thursday from a garage in the 10000 block of 135th Avenue Southwest.

WILLMAR - Tools were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 11000 block of Second Street Southeast. The theft was reported at 3:04 a.m. Thursday.

Assault

LAKE LILLIAN - An assault was reported at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of First Street East.

Fraud

NEW LONDON - A man reported a potential scam while selling a vehicle on Craigslist. The incident was reported at 12:28 p.m. Wednesday in the 16000 block of 72nd Street Northeast. Believing he was being scammed, the man told the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office he had canceled the sale of his vehicle and then received a check with instructions to cash the check and send some of the money back.

Suspicious person

WILLMAR - A woman in the 700 block of Ninth Street Southwest told police that a man walked into her home around 2:40 a.m. Thursday. She said the man knocked on her door and then came into the house. She said the man, who was in his early 20s, appeared to be intoxicated.

Counterfeit money

WILLMAR - A fake $20 bill was received in a night deposit Thursday morning at a bank in the 1600 block of First Street South.

WILLMAR - A business in the 800 block of Litchfield Avenue filed a report at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday that it had received a fake $100 bill.

Burglary

WILLMAR - A burglary was reported at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Monongalia Avenue Southwest. An individual told police they had come home and discovered their home had been broken into and several items were missing.
