Fugitive caught after foot chase

WILLMAR - Kandiyohi County sheriff's officers, Willmar police and CEE-VI Drug Task Force agents apprehended a 45-year-old male on an outstanding warrant after a foot chase starting around 9:34 a.m. Thursday on the 300 block of 13th Street Southwest in Willmar.

Dogs injure domestic deer

ATWATER - Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputies responded to a report at 8:16 a.m. Thursday that dogs had caused severe injuries to two domesticated deer at a property on the 3200 block of 165th Street Southeast, Atwater. The complainant said he had located the dogs but was unable to take them into custody.

Faked death investigated

WILLMAR - Police investigated a report from a caller who said he saw a video of a man he knew cutting his own throat with a big blade and bleeding. Officers located the man at a residence on the 400 block of 30th Street Northwest in Willmar and learned that fake blood had been used in producing the video.

Death threat investigated

WILLMAR - Police are investigating a report from a woman who said that she had received a death threat by video on Thursday.

Vandalism

PENNOCK - Sheriff's officers are investigating damage to a pickup truck topper window reported Thursday in Pennock. The victim said the window on the topper had been vandalized and the back door of the garage left ajar.

WILLMAR - Police are investigating a report Friday afternoon of vandalism to a vehicle on the 900 block of Third Street Southwest in Willmar.

Theft

WILLMAR - A man walked into a bathroom Thursday afternoon at a restaurant on the 1300 block of Lakeland Drive Southeast and left behind a credit card and temporary driver's license.
