WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenager.
Jose Huerta-Aviles, 16, has been missing since Jan. 8, though he is believed to be in the Willmar area. According to a news release from the Sheriff's Office, Huerta-Aviles did not return home after school on Jan. 8.
Huerta-Aviles has brown hair and brown eyes and is about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He weighs approximately 145 pounds.
There has been a reported sighting Jan. 18, the release said.
Anyone with information on Huerta-Aviles' whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement at 320-235-1260.
