DWI arrest

WILLMAR A Willmar man is facing a drunken driving charge after fleeing a one-vehicle crash scene around 8:18 p.m. Tuesday on the 1300 block of 23rd Street Southeast, according to Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt.

According to Felt, witnesses said a red Chevrolet extended cab pickup, driven by Austin Stull, 23, was traveling southbound on 23rd Street Southeast when his vehicle left the road, hitting an electrical box, street light pole and a fire hydrant.

The vehicle then went westbound on Willmar Avenue and was later pulled over after it was located on the 1100 block of Irene Avenue Southeast.

Stull is facing third-degree driving while impaired, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and reckless driving.

Arrests

LAKE LILLIAN — A 27-year-old man was arrested following a domestic incident reported around 2:19 p.m. Tuesday on the 6100 block of 147th Avenue Southeast.

WILLMAR — A 31-year-old man was arrested on a drug charge and a warrant around 11 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop at the intersection of Litchfield Avenue and Fourth Street Southwest.

Thefts

WILLMAR — The theft of a couple of trailers was reported around 11:54 a.m. Wednesday on the 4000 block of Abbott Drive Southeast.

WILLMAR — A person reported around 3:44 p.m. Wednesday that someone took their wallet and cell phone on the 700 block of 19th Avenue Southeast.

WILLMAR — A woman reported around 3:12 p.m. Wednesday that items had been stolen from her vehicle on the 700 block of Second Street Southwest.

Counterfeit bill

WILLMAR — A person reported a $100 counterfeit bill around 9 a.m. Wednesday on the 1600 block of First Street South.
