Domestic assault arrests

WILLMAR — Multiple people were arrested during a domestic call early Thursday morning on the 1000 block of Third Street Southwest.

Of those arrested, a 42-year-old man is facing a slew of charges including felony stalking, fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and fifth-degree drugs, along with misdemeanor charges for domestic assault and violating a domestic abuse no contact order.

He is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

A 30-year-old man was also arrested during the incident for a felony arrest and detain warrant. He is currently being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

A 24-year-old woman arrested during the incident does not have any charges listed but is being held in the Meeker County Jail.

WILLMAR — A 35-year-old woman was arrested on multiple felony assault charges, including domestic assault by strangulation, late Wednesday night on the 700 block of Second Street Southwest.

She is currently being held in the Meeker County Jail.

Warrant arrest

WILLMAR — A 49-year-old man was arrested on a Stearns County warrant Thursday morning on the 300 block of Becker Avenue Southwest.

Car vs. fire hydrant

WILLMAR — A car hit a fire hydrant Wednesday afternoon on the corner of Willmar Avenue and 12th Street Southeast.

Appleton man who pointed a gun at a woman in his home, shot a wall, gets probation, credit for time served

BENSON — An Appleton man received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of assault with a dangerous weapon stemming from an April 2020 incident in which a woman reported that he pointed a gun at her and refused to let her leave his home.
