WILLMAR — Multiple people were arrested Tuesday afternoon following a road rage incident near the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and Lakeland Drive Southeast, according to a Willmar Police Department news release.
According to the release, officers responded around 4:28 p.m. Tuesday and determined that the incident had escalated into an assault with multiple weapons involved.
Three men from Willmar — a 19-year-old, a 41-year-old and an 18-year-old — were treated for injuries and arrested for felony second-degree assault, along with other charges. All parties are currently awaiting formal charges in the Kandiyohi County Jail.
The incident is under investigation.
