YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY — A 47-year old man was injured in a motor vehicle crash on Friday near the intersection of County Road 18 and state Highway 23 in rural Yellow Medicine County.
Adrian Olby, the driver of the vehicle, was airlifted to the Twin Cities for treatment, according to the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office news release.
The release reports that Olby was headed eastbound on County Road 18 when he lost control of his vehicle, which left the road way and hit a tree. The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Yellow Medicine Sheriff's Office, Granite Falls Police Department, Upper Sioux Police Department, Hanley Falls Fire, Hanley Falls First Responders and Cottonwood Ambulance.
WILLMAR — A 20-year old man was arrested around 4:53 a.m. Saturday following a report of a truck with loud exhaust doing burnouts within an intersection.
The incident reportedly took place near the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 Northwest and 45th Street Northwest in Willmar.
According to the law enforcement report, the suspect was arrested on 1st degree criminal damage and 3rd degree DWI.
