Arrests

WILLMAR — A 51-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning during a domestic call on the 700 block of 27th Avenue Southwest.

As of Wednesday afternoon, he was in custody for misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault.

WILLMAR — A 22-year-old woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after law enforcement responded to a report that a vehicle was in the ditch on the 4100 block of First Avenue West.

The report does not list why the woman was arrested.

WILLMAR — A 27-year-old man was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 120th Street Southeast.

As of Wednesday afternoon, he was in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail for felony fifth-degree drug possession and misdemeanor driving after cancellation.

WILLMAR — A 40-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon for a warrant on the 5200 block of Lawler Beach Road Northeast.

Car stolen

ATWATER — A car was reported stolen Wednesday morning on the 8000 block of 180th Street Northeast.

Stolen gun recovered

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — A gun stolen during a 2006 Kandiyohi County burglary was recovered Wednesday morning by the Santa Monica Police Department in California.

According to the report, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office will contact the original owner and arrange the return of their firearm.

Vandalism

LAKE LILLIAN — Vandalism and theft were reported Wednesday morning on the corner of 45th Street and 165th Avenue Southeast.

Fairfax Deputy Registrar office in Renville County shut down after employees illegally accessed driver and vehicle data

FAIRFAX — The Fairfax Deputy Registrar's office has been closed after the only two employees had their access to driver and vehicle data revoked for illegally accessing driver and vehicle data, according to a Minnesota Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services Division news release.
