PENNOCK — A two-vehicle crash was reported at 3:33 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 12 at Kandiyohi County Road 7 near Pennock.
According to the State Patrol, a Subaru Legacy, driven by Cecilia Sanow, 80, of Marshall, was going south on County Road 7 when it pulled into the intersection and collided with a Toyota Rav4, driven by Sheryl Hammond, 70, of Willmar, that was going east on Highway 12.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and had non-life-threatening injuries. Sanow was cited for failing to yield, according to the State Patrol.
The Pennock Fire Department, First Responders, Rescue Squad and the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
WILLMAR — A 41-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday morning at the Kandiyohi County Jail on an outstanding warrant from Yellow Medicine County on charges of domestic assault, violating a harassment restraining order and giving peace officers a false name.
WILLMAR — An individual was cited Tuesday morning on charges of theft and motor vehicle tampering for going through an unlocked vehicle in the 320 block of Sixth Street Southwest.
WILLMAR — A 43-year-old woman was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Business Highway 71 North on drug-related charges after law enforcement responded to a complaint of domestic assault. She was in the Kandiyohi County Jail as of Tuesday afternoon.
WILLMAR — A woman filed a report at 10:43 p.m. Monday that she had been assaulted by a man at a business in the 900 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest. The suspect was gone when law enforcement arrived.
WILLMAR — An individual was cited for fourth-degree criminal damage to property following a complaint filed at 10:04 p.m. Monday in the area of Olaf Avenue and Seventh Street Northwest.
WILLMAR — A 22-year-old woman was arrested at 10:21 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Mary Avenue Southeast following a complaint of domestic assault.
WILLMAR — Two warrants were served at 10:12 p.m. Monday to a 37-year-old man who was already incarcerated in the Kandiyohi County Jail.
SPICER — A report was filed at 1:47 a.m. Tuesday that a customer left a business in the 150 block of Lake Avenue South, went to his car and returned to the business with a gun in his waistband. The individual was cited for disorderly conduct and signed into detox.
