Arrests

WILLMAR — A Willmar man charged with sexually assaulting multiple minors turned himself in Wednesday afternoon at the Law Enforcement Center in Willmar.

Alfredo Luna Sr., 46, is charged with four felony counts of second-degree criminal sex conduct for sexually assaulting multiple females since 2012. One of the minors accused Luna of molesting her from the ages of 9 to 13.

Luna was given $200,000 bail or bond in a first appearance Thursday in Kandiyohi County District Court.

As of Thursday afternoon, Luna was listed in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

No attorney is listed for Luna and he was denied a public offender.

WILLMAR — A 28-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after police found cocaine and marijuana in the man’s car during a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and 37th Avenue Northeast.

According to the report, law enforcement brought in a K-9 which alerted to the presence of drugs in the man’s vehicle. There were four children in the car as well, according to the report.

As of Thursday afternoon, the man was listed in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail awaiting formal charges related to the incident.

KANDIYOHI TOWNSHIP — A 50-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night for driving under the influence at the intersection of County Road 8 and 22nd Avenue Northeast.

As of Thursday afternoon, the man was not listed in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail.

Injury crash

WILLMAR — An injury crash was reported Thursday morning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 South and 120th Avenue Southwest.

According to the report, the crash was between a Ford transit van and a Chevrolet Impala. The report does not list who was injured or the extent of the injuries.

Theft

SPICER — A firearm was reported stolen early Thursday morning on the 5500 block of 112th Avenue Northeast.

Hector woman sentenced to 48 months for fatal shooting of boyfriend

OLIVIA — Elizabeth Perry Lynch, 36, of Hector, was sentenced Wednesday to 48 months in prison for the fatal shooting of Anthony Jon Tebben, 43, in their home on March 26, 2020, in Hector.
