MORRIS --Curtis Van Horn, 24, of Morris died Friday at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis from injuries sustained in an auto-train crash near Donnelly.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service at the church Thursday.
He was born Jan. 21, 1982, in Wheaton to Clay and Sharon (Smith) Van Horn. He graduated from Morris Area High School in 2000 and began working for Northland Pork in the Morris area.

He married Beth Gulbrandson on June 28, 2003, in Alexandria. They lived in the Morris area. He began working for Hilltop Swine in 2004.
He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Morris.
He is survived by his wife; infant daughter: Tabitha Van Horn; his parents; five siblings: Bryon Van Horn of Las Vegas, Nev., Craig (and Cameo) Van Horn of Renville, Corey (and Kelly) Van Horn of Johnson, Lisa Van Horn (and Josh Hennessy) of Morris and LeAnn Van Horn of Donnelly; and his grandparents, Phyllis Smith of Morris and Lowell Vipond of Festus, Mo.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
