New London-Spicer volleyball coach Kay Czarnetzki received the Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award by the North Country Region USA Volleyball Association recently.
The award is given for contributing outstanding particpation, motivation and other services in the promotion of volleyball.
Czarnetzki has been associated with Junior Olympic volleyball since the mid-1990s as a coach and board member.
