DELMONT, S.D. - Building damage and at least one injury has been reported by local law enforcement after a tornado hit the community of Delmont Sunday morning.
That preliminary information was reported to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, S.D., shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday.
Law enforcement spotted a tornado at 10:30 a.m. 6 miles north of Wagner, S.D., in Charles Mix County. Authorities have also been tracking potential severe storms in Hutchinson and Davison counties as the storm works its way north toward the Mitchell, S.D., area.
