LAKE LILLIAN — A Danube woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash near Lake Lillian.
According to the State Patrol, Katrena Jo Suchy, 41, was driving east about 1:46 p.m. Tuesday on state Highway 7 in a 2002 Dodge Caravan when the vehicle lost control on snow and ice near 90th Street Southeast in Lake Lillian Township. She came into contact with a 2007 Jeep Wrangler traveling westbound.
Suchy suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The driver of the Jeep was Mark Allen Nyberg, 37, of Shakopee. He was not injured, nor was his passenger Mary Margaret Nyberg, 69, of Shakopee.
All three were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved, according to the report.
