LITCHFIELD -- Darcy Lou Slyter, 54, of rural Cosmos died Thursday at the Hutchinson Area Hospital.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Burial will be in Iowa at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born July 18, 1953, to Steve and Roberta (Raygor) Dillinger in Jefferson, Iowa. She grew up and received her education in Flanagan, Ill., graduating in 1971.

She married James Slyter on June 18, 1988, in Hutchinson. She worked at 3M, Subway and Hutchinson Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband; children: Steven Potter of Winsted, Jason Potter of Indiana, and Holly Rose of Federal Way, Wash.; four grandchildren; her father; and sisters: Dianna Dillinger of Rock Island, Ill., and Dena Hornor of Lehigh Acres, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and one sister.
