SPICER -- There will be an organizational meeting of a proposed chapter of the Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Spicer American Legion
Duey Johnston, a fish decoy-maker from Perham, will coordinate the meeting. Bob Halvorson of New London, current president of the Minnesota Darkhouse and Angling Association's state organization, will also speak.
Johnston will also give a brief program on decoy making. A social hour will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The MDAA is a non-profit organization chartered to educate and teach the public about the heritage and methods of darkhouse spearing. There are 16 chapters located throughout the state and over 2,400 members.
