LITCHFIELD -- The crash that killed a 76-year-old Dassel woman remains under investigation by Litchfield Police.
According to Chief Patrick Fank, Helen Bourgeois was pronounced dead at Meeker County Memorial Hospital after the two-vehicle accident around 2 p.m. Thursday.
Bourgeois was driving a 1995 Buick eastbound on Ripley Street and crossed County Road 34. Her vehicle was struck by a southbound 2001 Kia driven by Heather Humble, 22, of Litchfield. Humble was also transported by ambulance to MCMH, where she was treated and released.
